Results
The effect of a CryoPen treatment is not immediately visible. The skin needs time to recover, so the final result is only visible after 14 days. Protect the treated skin well against external influences and UV radiation for up to 4 weeks after treatment.
How is the treatment?
In general, you experience little or no discomfort during and after a cryotherapy treatment. The skin may possibly feel slightly burning or tingling for a few minutes.
A few seconds after the treatment, you may notice that the treated area may be a little redder and more sensitive. A few days after treatment a scab may form. It is important not to pick or scratch at the scabs to prevent scarring and pigmentation. The skin needs time to recover. Therefore, the final result is only visible after 14 days.
How should I care for the treated skin?
The treated skin is fragile. Protect the skin well for the first 48 hours and avoid the sauna, hot shower or bath. Use a soothing and caring cream immediately after treatment. Also, protect the treated skin very well from all ultraviolet radiation.
The treated area should be well protected from sun damage for up to four weeks after the CryoPen treatment. This is necessary for the healing process to take place optimally and to prevent unwanted pigment shifts. The use of a restorative cream with high sun protection is desirable for daily use.
What is the result of a CryoPen treatment?
You will usually see results after just one treatment. Usually, for an on-skin indication, two to three treatments are desirable for best results. A follow-up treatment is possible after two to three weeks.
